I, on the other hand, would love to see more ethanol. Remember - that was CNN that you were watching. The company that broadcasts gloom and doom. We could look at a bigger picture. Anything - even if its 10% of a chunk from the Arab oil profits I'm for it. Yes - I'm against the subsidies that the farm gets, but lets kill 2 birds with one stone. Give each farmer one big subsidy that they need to spend on solar/wind energy. This will get rid of the need for coal to produce the enthenol and no more subsidy. It's not the ultimate answer - but it's a step in the right direction.
